Sprint Logistics plays an important role in the processing of municipal solid waste in the Greater Houston area. Sprint Logistics' primary line of business is transfer station management, including the loading and transportation of tractor-trailer loads of waste from in-town processing facilities to remote landfills. Transfer stations are a vital part of the waste collection process by improving the efficiency of collection vehicles and reducing operating costs for Sprint's customers.
Sprint Logistics was the first company to provide these services in the Houston area in 1992 and is still the only significant operator in the market, processing over 8,000 loads and 200,000 tons of waste per month. We provide these services on a fixed price per ton or load basis, which gives customers the ability to manage, and project, their costs, while eliminating the need for significant capital expenditures.
Sprint Logistics owns a fleet of 66 tractors and 150 trailers. This force is supplemented with a group of highly qualified owner-operators, which allows the company to handle fluctuations in volumes effectively.
